Moston Lane Shutters
Moston Shutters is a community street art project with the aim of rejuvenating Moston Lane. Bringing together shops and shopkeepers with artists in a creative process to decorate their shutters with unique artworks. With each shutter we want to represent the rich history and vibrant present of Moston Lane, each one in a way telling the story of the shop and the narrative of a community over time.
We are grateful for the support of: Winning Hearts and Minds, Heritage Fund UK and Historic England.
Further thanks:
Everyone who contributed to a Shutters session, Chloe Stott (Community Facilitator), Moston Matters, HM/MCR active, Manchester City Council, Moston Brook Friends Group & Moston Social Clean-Ups. North City Library, North FM, Harpurhey Neighbourhood Project and Reflecteen.
